Sweet Potatoes, carrots and ground turkey are the main ingredients in these DIY healthy and delicious dog treat. I call them my Thanksgiving Treats, because these are the ingredients we mainly cook with around the TG holiday. However. I am certain your dog will love these treats any time of the year.
Preheat your oven to 375 F (200 C)
Peel and cut sweet potatoes and carrots and boil until soft.
Drain and mash until smooth.
Brown ground turkey in the coconut oil. Let cool off.
In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.
Make small dough balls and arrange on greased cookie sheet.
Use a fork to slightly flatten the cookies.
Bake for 20 -25 minutes until lightly browned.
Let treats cool off completely before feeding them to your pet!
Store treats in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the fridge or freeze for longer storage.
